See Every Look From Alexander McQueen's Spring 2019 Collection
On Monday evening, Alexander McQueen presented its Spring 2019 collection for Paris Fashion Week showgoers at the Jardin Du Luxembourg's Orangerie Du Sénat. With a sparse set simply comprised of winding rows of seating facing four sizable boulder-like structures, the collection was set to take center stage, which it did with all 41 of its looks.
Creative Director Sarah Burton has infused her own tangible imprint of ladylike edge — with an undeniable bite — into the British house, as was fully exemplified in her most recent offering. Stevie Nicks and Don Henley-approved leather and lace were mixed alongside chainmail-accented suiting and kaleidoscope tea gowns. Long-sleeved dresses were slitted in strategically-positioned locations — across the bodice, over the shoulders and diagonally up the skirt — to reveal a bit more flesh, while impeccably embroidered suiting and even more leather came styled with hefty choker necklaces and hanging pendants.
